Peter A. Dyson helps families navigate probate and trust disputes with a steady focus on facts, procedure, and the human side of conflict. As the owner and managing attorney of Boca Raton Probate Attorneys, he works with individuals who need clear guidance when a loved one has passed away, when inheritances are challenged, or when questions arise about whether an estate plan truly reflects a person’s wishes.

Peter’s path to Florida began in 2004, when he moved from New York after receiving a full-tuition scholarship to attend Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center. He earned his Juris Doctor in 2007, building on earlier studies at Binghamton University (SUNY), where he completed a B.A. in History.

Since entering practice, Peter has developed a litigation-forward perspective that serves clients well in contested probate matters. His work revolves around disputes involving will contests and disinheritance challenges, as well as cases where family members or caregivers are alleged to have influenced, exploited, or pressured a vulnerable person. His practice also includes estate planning and probate, along with related civil disputes such as insurance coverage matters.

Peter is admitted to practice in Florida (2007), New York (2009), and New Jersey (2010), and he is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida (2009). He has approximately 18 years of practice.

His professional background includes leadership roles as managing partner at Dyson Law, PLLC and prior managing partner responsibilities at Dyson & Levy, following a firm transition. Peter’s recognitions include listings with Florida Super Lawyers (including Super Lawyers selections and earlier Rising Stars listings) and membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
